We are now onto the 5th book in the Lorien Legacies Series and after how good the 4th book was I have got high hopes on this book. I want to know what the events are after eights death, how the rest of the garde react to what happens with Five betraying them. Should be a good book.
The Garde have suffered an unbearable loss. Number Five has betrayed them. Eight is gone forever. Ella has been kidnapped. The others are now scattered.
In Chicago, John makes the unlikeliest of allies: Adam, a Mogadorian who turned his back on his people. He has invaluable information about Mog technology, battle strategies, and weaknesses. Most important, he knows where to hit them: their command base near Washington, DC. During the assault, however, John and Adam learn the unimaginable truth: it is too late. The Mogadorians have commenced their ultimate invasion plans.
With a front-row seat to the impending invasion, Ella finds herself in the hands of the enemy. For some reason she’s more valuable to them alive, and they’ll stop at nothing to turn her.
Meanwhile, Six, Nine, and Marina make their way through the Florida Everglades, hot on the trail of the traitorous Five. With the development of a new Legacy, Marina finally has the power to fight back—if her thirst for revenge doesn’t consume her first.

For me this book wasn’t as good as the 4th but still overall it is better then the second. For me the best part was probably the last 30 pages, this is because so much happens that basically makes it a cliffhanger. The cliffhanger is so good that I don’t even want to write this review, I just want to read the next book. What’s the cliffhanger, well so members of the human race HAVE GOT POWERS. How do we know this, well Sam did something on the last page of the book where he use a force to knock over a piken in order to protect john. So far Sam is the only one who we have been told has got powers, so for me the cliffhanger is who else has got powers, and if they have got powers then what powers do they have, do they take the powers of what One, Two, Three and Eight have, if so then who gets who’s powers. I simply cant wait.
So except for the cliffhanger at the end , probably my favourite part of the book is seeing how much Marina has developed since the death of Eight and how her ice power has went from being non-exist to being maybe one of the most powerful powers any of the remaining garde, the only expection might be Johns fire or Sixs ability with the weather. She went from being probably the quietest garde, mainly because she didn’t have an ability in which she could use in battle other then her healing. Now she is able to heal people and kill people with the same icey feeling, trust me when I say I don’t know if I would want to be healed by her.
This the maybe the book where the most of the story all comes together at once, the garde finding the sanctuary that they were meant to go after they were ready, it is a place where only the garde can go as long as they have got there pendants. The mogs have also official invaded and have started to attack new York city. Everything all happens really quickly and as I said above it all really comes together in the final 30 pages of the book.
The way in which just about every scene is described is amazing, I loved being able to read about what the mogs war ships looked like, and how six managed to fly one of the ships. It was just fantastic, but for me probably the best part of writing with the best description is where the garde meet sanders and how he went from looking young and healthy even though he was 60+ years old, to a man who muscles where failing him especially on his face all because he stopped taking the medicine the mogs gave him. I loved how much detail was put into this section, it really made it a lot easier to imagine what the man looked like.
Overall this book is amazing, might not be as good as the 4th but it is still a great read and a fantastic addition to the series and I recommened that everyone reads it.Buy The Revenge of Seven Here
