Skyrim Remastered (PS4) Review

This is one of my all-time favourite games and seeing how it had been remastered with better graphics on the PS4 I had to buy it and replay the game and see if my opinions are still the same. Anyway, it is time for a review.

The mains story of this game is that you are a Dragon born a being that can absorb the soul of a dragon and use it to learn the language of the dragons. It is up to you to make sure that all the dragons that are coming back to life aren’t going to kill the whole planet and you do this by going after the dragon leader. You will need the help of the greybeards and the Blades to do so.

Of course, that is not the only story that happens in this games as there are loads of side quests and other side stories that you can do before you start the main story. This basically makes the game endless and can keep you entertained for hundreds of hours. You can become a master thief or assassin or even a leader of an army. No matter how many times you play this game you will find something new to play as, this could be you decide to play as a 2 handed heavy armour thief or an archer who is the leader of the wizards.

This makes the game great for me as I am a great lover of story based games and being told that I can play the same game and make a different story each time is just fantastic and the way that the game has been produced is also fantastic.

The game is leaps and bounds so much better looking than on the previous versions and is worth the money just for that. Of course, I have played this game on PC with numerous mods to make the game just look beautiful but being able to play the game at that quality on a console is great and was so great to see the graphics on the PS4 being pushed to the boundaries.

Of course, this being an elder scrolls game there are a lot of glitches in the game some which are funny and some which make the game look like a lot more time should have been spent programming on certain points.

Without the glitches then this game is almost perfect, I played through the story as an archer with a bit of a magical element every now and then and I found the aiming to be perfect and made the game be a lot more fun because of it.

The game is amazing and I recommend it to anyone if you like RPG or fantasy style games. Of course, fi you are an FPS player then I don’t think this game is going to be for you.
