Finally, I got my hands on the latest volume of Saga, it has been a while since I read the last volume so it was great to catch back up with the story and see what the latest volume has got in store for us.
Of course, we are still following the lives of Marko and Alana as they try to find someone who is able to take away the miscarried baby away from Alana before it starts to damage her body. However on the way to a hospital they come across people who want to kill them for being traitors to the war. The Will is getting tortured for information but what his torturer finds out could change the whole war. Petrichor is still with the family, but she is slowly starting to come around and like all thanks to Hazel, however one thing is missing, she needs sex. When she gets captured she is praying to god to find someone she is able to sleep with, a few pages later someone unexpected comes to her rescue.
The story like all over Saga volumes is amazing and it is what keeps me coming back to each volume with so much excitement. It doesn’t matter if you have read every single book in the world these volumes will always keep you on your toes as you will never know what is going to happen in the next chapter.
The art style like always is fantastic, the way that they are able to make every single image on the page seem as important as the last even though it might not hold any information towards the story at all is amazing. When a new character is introduced to the story then you want to see every little thing about them because the art is that good it makes you feel familiar with the character after only seeing them for a few seconds on a page.
After finishing the book i was disappointed and that was because we don’t get another volume until October of this year. This means I am going to have to find some more graphic novels to read in that time.
